The Respond section of the Emergency Platform is where you will find the bulk of practical tools and guidance on DRC’s approach to emergency response.

The section aims to cover the entirety of the Humanitarian Programme Cycle: its sub-pages will introduce you to the Theory of Change for emergency response, Context-based Programming, Needs Assessments, Emergency Funds and Surge Staff, Access, Humanitarian Accountability, Information Management, Coordination and a “good enough” approach to Monitoring and Evaluation.

The Emergency Programming and Sectors sub-section provides a good overview of the priority sectors for DRC in an emergency response and examples of good proposals that can support you in designing an emergency strategy and programme.
